After a fun night out with the English teachers, we got up early and boarded a bus back to Caroline's small town. There was beautiful scenery along the way, but we were too sleepy for many photos.
We dropped off our bags at Caroline's apartment and took a long walking tour of the town. She showed us her walk to school along the river (which was partially frozen), cute welcome signs, sculptures, a soccer stadium, and the schools.
This area is famous for its peppers, and we posed with Pepper Fairies for good fortune. There is a big pepper festival held every fall.
A warrior statue stands in front of this elementary school. This is one of the three schools where Caroline teaches. As we were walking some of her students smiled and greeted us. They were so excited to see Caroline Teacher outside of school.
