In February of 2023, we took our second all-girls family road trip to Murrells Inlet, SC. This trip was closer to home and a time to celebrate Caroline’s birthday and annual visit from Korea.

In October of 2021, we took our first ever all-girls family road trip to celebrate a milestone birthday in Williamsburg, VA! After a six hour drive and a night in our condo, we began our first day with breakfast at a very busy local diner, where Courtney, Michelle, Sherry, and I all tried the special of the day: mimosa flights.

We made a really quick overnight trip to Charleston, and managed to fit in a few sites.

Brookgreen Gardens is a beautifully preserved collection of botanical gardens, sculptures, and a zoo located on the coast of South Carolina. We attended the Summer Light: Art by Night display on the final night! We saw 250-year-old Live Oak trees, blooming butterfly gardens, and shimmering water displays lit by candles, lanterns, and colorful lights.
