Soraepogu is a port, which I love. A nautical theme runs throughout the area and this statue is located on the street near the subway.
I spent most of the day meandering through the area. I stopped for spicy seafood noodle soup, which was just the right amount of spicy!
The café/coffee culture is strong here, so I decided to visit a café a day. I searched KakaoMap and found a nearby café with a five star rating. I guess they haven't updated because when I walked to the site the café was closed due to damage.
I regrouped and walked several blocks over to Oozy Coffee, where I got a "screw strawberry" smoothie and almond coffee cake. I noticed several customers drinking soft serve ice cream with coffee syrup. Perhaps I'll try that another day.
After Caroline returned from school we took the subway one stop over for one of my favorites, dakgalbi, another "cook at your table" meal. For dessert, we had hattoek, a pancake filled with brown sugar, honey, peanuts, and cinnamon. So yummy!
On the way home we stopped at a Photo Booth, which is very popular. I'm sure we'll do this many times!
