Incheon Chinatown

Before heading off to Chinatown, where Caroline stayed her first week, I started the day at A Twosome Place café. I said hello to the young lady, then ordered cappuccino and carrot cake in Korean. We were on the same page until she asked in Korean if I wanted cinnamon. When I clearly didn't understand, she just said "cinnamon" in English. Hahahaha! I got cinnamon.

After breakfast I took the subway to Incheon Chinatown. The first thing I did was climb the Emperor’s Stairs. A lot of stairs. But I am supposed to receive imperial energy and good fortune, so it was worth it! (My total step count for the day was 13,222.) The scenery and views from the top were gorgeous.

Next, I went in search of Character Street, but couldn’t find it. Then I saw a group of kindergartners in their matching shirts, and I figured they were headed to the fairytale village. I followed them, and thankfully I was right! Bless the children. After shopping a little I went to restaurant that Caroline recommended for steamed dumplings. All of the food is so delicious!
